What Tasmania is

Tasmania is an automated alert service. We check employers' public career sites and send job postings that match the preferences you give us to a private channel in our Discord server. Each alert names where the posting came from (the employer's careers page and the hiring system it uses).

Tasmania is not a job board, recruiter or employment agency. We don't contact employers, submit applications, place candidates or promise interviews or jobs. Postings come from employers; we don't verify every detail, and a posting can close or change at any time. You apply directly with the employer.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States. For now we can't sell to residents of some states; those states are shown at signup, and people there can join a waitlist instead.

Price and length of access

You pay once, at checkout, for access for the period shown there (currently 3 months), starting when your channel is set up. It does not renew automatically. Near the end we'll send a link if you want to renew.

Refunds

You can get a full refund for any reason within 14 days of paying by emailing us. After that, payments aren't refundable except where the law requires. If we end your access for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part.

Your part

• Give accurate answers so your alerts fit you. Tell us if something needs changing.
• Keep your channel to yourself. Don't share access, repost the alerts or resell them.
• Follow Discord's rules while you're in our server.

We may remove anyone who abuses the service or other members.

How it can go wrong

We work hard to keep alerts accurate and on time, but the service is provided "as is." Employers' sites change, filters can miss a job or let one through that doesn't fit, and outages happen. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us.

Everything else

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. If we change them, we'll update this page and the date above; the version in place when you paid applies to that purchase. Questions: email us.
